    • Synopsis
    • Baruto, a young man who used to work as a nightclub security guard, is the first Estonian ever to enter the elite circles of Sumo. He has made a record-breaking career, earning the admiration of his countrymen as well as Japanese. His tough journey to the top and gradual realization of the Sumo traditions, strict rituals and hierarchies, helps portray the difference between Western and Eastern cultures through the eyes of a man who has experienced life as an athlete in both Estonia and Japan. The film is a research into the chances of survival of an Estonian country boy serving Japanese gods.
