    • Synopsis
    • March 2011. The Arab Spring has been gaining its momentum. Tension is mounting throughout the region, an air of distrust and the threat of civil war.At the same time in Tallinn, an experienced eld agent, codenamed Georg, of Estonia’s counter-intelligence agency Internal Security Service (ISS) is informed by his hard-boiled boss Peeter about the kidnapped Estonian cyclists in Lebanon. An unprecedented security operation is launched and the Black Ops guy Georg is sent on a joint mission with bookwormish Rein, a seasoned spy working in foreign intelligence which has long been rivals with ISS. What could go wrong?

Since Estonia has no representation in Lebanon, their ally France extends a hand of friendship to help with setting up a reliable network of contacts. Rein and Georg are joined in Beirut by Daniel, the special envoy of the Estonian Minister of Foreign Aairs fluent in French. Making the already complex situation even more dangerous is a former Estonian intelligence agent turned entrepreneur who sets out to solve the case on her own – an unpredictable redhead with the code name Falcon and sporting somewhat psychopathic tendencies.

It soon becomes clear that the motley crew of Estonians will have to work closer than ever together on the exceptional case – and not only with each other, but also with their partners from the French embassy and Lebanese security forces. But who can they trust? How to find a needle in a haystack if the haystack is constantly changing? Are the kidnapped Estonians even in Lebanon any longer? Or have they been taken to neighbouring Syria? Who is pulling the strings in this abduction which is gaining more and more media attention? Why have no ransom demands been made? Will the Estonian agents rise above their differences and work together to rescue their compatriots before it’s too late? And will the fabled redhead bring any luck as the Arab proverb says?

The heat is rising with every passing hour as the Arab Spring reaches fever pitch.
