    • Synopsis
    • Amin Abel Hasbun was assassinated on September 24, 1970, at the hands of the Secret Service agent Hermogenes Lopez, and the President of the Republic, Dr. Joaquín Balaguer, directs the Attorney General, Marino Ariza, to conduct a thorough investigation to soothe public opinion, which is extracted from reliable records from State archives.
      This cinematic history, made ​​through exclusive interviews with widow Mirna Santos and other participants in the political activitism between 1965 and 1970, reveals the brief but impressive life and works of Amin Abel.
      The events leading up to his murder, including the kidnapping of the U.S. Colonel Donald Crowley March 24, 1970, the exile of 20 political prisoners in exchange for the hostage, and the subsecuent sequel of State crimes to eliminate the masterminds of the kidnapping, practically ends the left-wing opposition in the Dominican Republic .
      The story culminates with a verdict , determined as a true public farce, which is still remembered as a mockery of justice.
