    • Fatma is a 25 years old Turkish woman. To live a free life from the traditional ties of her family and father she run to Italy. Here she started studying photography, taking on an exciting new, independent life. And of course she fell in love with an Italian, Davide, with whom she lives happily... But what to tell her Turkish family?
      After years of secret life Fatma and Davide have decided: she will go back to Turkey and tell her father and family not only that she lives with a man, but she wants to marry him! Yet in her family marriages have always been arranged. And her father, with four daughters to handle, is determined to respect traditions. Through Fatma’s quest to stand up for her rights we’ll gaze into the Turkish female world. While she explores the relationship with the other women of her family and their approach to marriage, men and love, through bitter- sweet, painful and funny situations we will live the clash of generations struggling between modernity and tradition. Following Fatma in Turkey she takes us on her personal journey to conquer freedom and get her father’s approval... in the meantime Davide and his family have just landed in Istanbul to meet their “in-laws”...
