    • Synopsis
    • ALLEGIANCE – The true story of the amazing interplay between two unforgettable historical personalities Michael Collins the head of the IRA (Michael Fassbender) and Winston Churchill (Mel Smith).
ALLEGIANCE dramatically explores a dynamic point in Anglo-Irish politics which gave birth to the foundation of the Irish state.
It covers a crucial turning point in history which has so many resonances today. Where two opposing military men manage to put aside their differences and agree to meet for discussions in one brandy fuelled night in Churchill’s Hyde Park apartment.
Despite their initial contempt and suspicion, they learn about themselves, their similarities in character and purpose and from there, reach an historic political compromise.
