- “Alike” is a feature film about contemporary Tunisia, one of the most tense periods in its history, undermined by the economic crisis and political instability.
  A period that recalls the past, marked by the failure of a "socialist" economic experiment, against the backdrop of the defeat of the Arab armies in the Arab-Israeli war of June 1967.
  A time of uncertainty and resignation, and where the cult of populism reigns supreme.
  Retracing the misadventures of contemporary Arab nationalism, confronted since the 1950s with the double challenge of the creation of the State of Israel and the oil windfall, "Alike" tries to find the key to understanding the 2011 uprisings in Arab countries and to show the counter-revolutions that followed.
