    • Synopsis
    • "Africa on the Horizon" portrays Alexandre Garnizé's journey to the dream of seeking his musical and cultural roots through his meeting with his Senegalese master Doudou Ndiaye Rose. Together, they perform a rhythmic and cultural exchange between Afro-Brazilian and Senegalese music. Communities of the Tide in Rio de Janeiro and communities of Dakar in Senegal are in the trajectory of the musician historian Garnizé, forming a scenario where ethnicity, music and youth are the main elements of this great meeting of social realities.
