    • Synopsis
    • At dawn, on the road from Beirut to Damascus, a bus is ambushed and all its passengers are shot. Among them is a high-ranking politician, traveling without bodyguards, and the only witness to this horror is a botanist collecting samples nearby. As the country plunges into conspiracy theories, the botanist embarks on a personal inquiry full of absurd clues: a deaf cat, a sketch of celestial constellations, and an acacia tree with a broken branch.
