    • Josh Fox wrote and directed Gasland, which premiered at the 2010 Sundance Film Festival, was acquired by HBO, and has become and important instrument in the fight to save clean water from the hazards of natural gas drilling. In 2008, he made his narrative feature debut with Memorial Day (Artists Public Domain, Journeyman Pictures, C-Hundred Film Corp.), a genre-bending examination of American culture and the atrocities of Abu Ghraib, where war is a party and partying is a war. The film was hailed as "Unforgettable" by Variety and "Uniquley fascinating" by Indiewire garnering a reputation as "The most controversial film at the festival" Spoutblog. As Artistic Director of International WOW, he established himself as a significant force New York theater. The New York Times hailed him as "one of the most adventurous impresarios of the New York avant-garde," and Time Out called him "one of downtown's most audacious auteurs.”
