    • New Year’s Eve on the top of a London skyscraper.
Martin is literally on the edge. A once-beloved TV personality, he’s now desperate to jump. But, guess what, he’s not alone. Single mother Maureen, sassy teen Jess and musician turned pizza-delivery boy JJ have all turned up on the same roof with the same plan.
An awkward situation. Instead of jumping, these complete strangers make a pact to stay alive and stay together until Valentine’s Day, at least.
And on the day everything was supposed to end, their friendship starts them on a roller-coaster ride;taking them from unwanted fame to a hilarious ‘family holiday’ in Tenerife. The adventures of this motley crew are wildly unpredictable, very moving and ultimately life-affirming.
Based on the international best seller by Nick Hornby (About A Boy) and brimming with his unique brand of candid humour, humanity and charm, A Long Way Down is a tale of second chances and catching each other before we fall.
