    • Based on real events, A GOOD LIE tells the story of Ali, the dutiful son of a Muslim Cleric who has migrated to Australia from Iran, and Ali’s wayward quest to please his father and his God.
      Telling a series of well-intentioned lies, Ali sets off a catastrophic chain of events that sees him pretending to be a medical student based on forged exam marks. Amidst the chaos, Ali falls for Dianne, the girl of his dreams, is engaged to marry Yomna, the girl he has been promised to, and stars as Saddam Hussein in “The Trial of Saddam Hussein - The Musical”.
      An irreverent and warm-hearted comedy, A GOOD LIE is an affectionate and vivid portrait of Islamic life in Australia, and a poignant story of love and duty.
