    • Katrine Evensen (55) lives a seemingly carefree life with her family in Bergen, Norway.
One day she receives a visit from a lawyer (Sven Solberg), who is preparing a case against the state of Norway on behalf of children of German-Norwegian parents born during the Second World War in German-occupied Norway. Katrine, according to his knowledge, is such a child, whose mother had to give her up to the so called Lebensborn project. Katrine grew up in an orphanage in East Germany, and came to Norway as a young woman, reunited with her mother, got married and had a daughter.
However, she keeps a dark secret. During the Cold War she has got herself entangled in a web of lies and espionage, and she has lived a double life ever since. Her existence is threatened by Solberg´s investigations. Everything is at stake for Katrine.. What is she to do? And who is she really?
The film is based on historical facts. It involves a real murder case which has been unsolved to this date.
