A provincial town in Bulgaria, in the night of 28 December 1979. The Soviet troops have just invaded Afghanistan. Fear is hovering in the air. The army is in high alert. Three militia men and their superior get entangled in a story which starts with suspicion of unfaithfulness and ends with death.

- Synopsis
- A provincial town in Bulgaria, in the night of 28 December 1979. The Soviet troops have just invaded Afghanistan. Fear is hovering in the air. The army is in high alert. An officer, a militia boss, responsible for the life and the security of the people in a small town, fucks the young wife of his subordinate. In order to cover up their boss, two of his subordinates are ready to go to all length. They start with an innocent catch, but the spiral of lies makes each of their subsequent steps wrongful, until it leads them to murder. However, they don’t want to get their hands dirty and assign the foul business to their young colleague. During his first night duty, he receives his “baptism of fire”. Since his superior has fucked his wife, since he has been falsely accused of a crime he didn’t do, in order to save his skin, the young sergeant will commit also a murder. And then he will become also an informer for his superior – and he will enter into the spiral. Everybody knows everything and no one has a winning move. Life goes on while the guardians of public order get entangles in a satanic knot. The participants in it will not become friends, but allies of necessity – “ominously related” persons. They will watch each other and each of them will know that the other will not pardon him if he can take revenge. Each will bear hatred to the rest but all together will keep the common dirty secret.
