Description
Founded in 1994, WG Film has a strong track record in producing creative documentary films both in Sweden and internationally. Our productions include BANANAS!*, BIG BOYS GONE BANANAS, BECOMING ZLATAN, DEAD DONKEYS FEAR NO HYENAS and BIKES VS CARS. Co producing with colleagues from all over the world has resulted in films like BURMA VJ, FINAL IMAGE and THE MAN WHO SAVED THE WORLD. WG Film’s films have been selected to high priority festivals such as Sundance, Cannes, IDFA, Berlinale, Hot Docs, SXSW and CPH:DOX. In addition we often do theatrical releases, are very fond of special screenings, have good connections to international broadcasts, and lately the online market is a big channel for us with VOD, Netflix, iTunes and all of our films are on Vimeo on Demand. In addition to official distribution channels, outreach and engagement with our community has become a critical component of our company.
