WESTERN NORWAY FILM FUND
Description
Founded in 1994 and based in Bergen, with a satellite office in Ålesund, Western Norway Film Fund supports the development and production of films, series, and games through non-recoupable grants. It fosters local and international co-productions, industry growth, and emerging talent through a variety of programs. Home to the regional film commission, the fund promotes Western Norway as a premier production destination, offering free location scouting and guidance to international producers.
Objective
To promote Western Norway’s producers and filmmakers at international markets, meet with international producers and filmmakers interested in co-producing or shooting in the region, build partnerships, and support professional development
