Description
Wandal Production is currently developing a historical drama ICE DOWN (dir. Jan Hřebejk!, about the Czechoslovak ice hockey world champions from 1950’s, who were falsely accused of an emigration attempt from the communistic Czechoslovakia and were send to prison to mine uranium with bare hands. Wandal Production is also preparing a second film of Slovak- Afgani female director Sahraa Karimi, bases on her hrue story FLIGHT FROM KABUL. been awarded Best Work in Development in KVIFF 2023. Sahraa’s first film HAVA, MARYAM, AYESHA was premiered in 2019 at Venice Film Festival in Orizzonti. Wanda is an EAVE graduate.
