Description
BETTE : Biopic of Bette Davis and her 1936 legal battle with Warner Brothers for creative control and equal pay. Screenplay by Caitlin Scherer, Austin Film Festival Finalist, the film explores the emotional cost of being a strong woman in a male-dominated Studio system. BATHTUB A psychological horror inspired by the darker roots of Grimm’s Fairy Tales. When a reclusive writer’s fears manifest as a haunting mermaid in her bathtub, she’s pulled into surreal waters and a portal to another world.
Objective
Seeking producing partners, development support, and financing. BETTE is a fully developed script in the packaging and financing stage. BATHTUB is a psychological thriller being produced as a proof of concept for a limited series. We've completed half of principal photography and are now seeking additional financing to finish production and expand into a full series.
