Unnecessary Pictures was founded by Roman Nesis in 2024 to finance and produce documentaries that inspire social change. Roman is an LA-based producer with over a decade of experience in the industry. Prior to launching Unnecessary Pictures, Roman worked as a Production Manager at Hello Sunshine, Reese Witherspoon's multi-media company. Before that, Roman worked at RatPac Entertainment supporting its documentary division from its inception through its steady growth over 4 years.
