Description
Triptych Media recently released Mika Kaurismäki's feature, THE GIRL KING, a co-production with Finland's Marianna Films, Germany's Starhaus Filmproduktion and Sweden's Anagram Film & TV AB with Montreal's Galafilm. The film is based on the original screenplay by Michel Marc Bouchard (LILIES, TOM AT THE FARM) about Sweden's rebellious and modern young Queen Kristina who ruled in the mid-1600's. The film features an international cast with Malin Buska, Sarah Gadon, Mychael Nyqvist, Lucas Bryant, Laura Birn, Hippolyte Girardot, Francois Arnaud and Martina Gedeck Triptych has produced original, award winning and entertaining feature film and television drama for over 20 years and is active in international co-production.
