Description
STG Production is an independent production company dedicated to presenting stories that foster social, spiritual, and aesthetic dialogues between Asia and the West.Founder and filmmaker, Sundaram Tagore’s film, "The Poetics of Color: Natvar Bhavsar, An Artist’s Journey," is the first and only documentary to explore the contribution of Indian artists to American Contemporary Art. The film premiered at the MIAAC Film Festival in New York City and since garnered multiple international awards.
Objective
STG Production is currently completing production on a feature length film about American architect Louis I. Kahn and the creation of his magnum opus, the National Parliamentary Complex in Dhaka Bangladesh. Rising from emerald rice fields, amidst the frenzy of Dhaka's streets, is not only an architectural wonder but an icon of democracy and testament to an artist's vision. Following several years of shooting at more than a dozen locations worldwide, the film is slated for release in 2017.
