Description

The St. John’s International Women’s Film Festival (SJIWFF) is one of the longest running women’s film festivals in the world. Established in 1989 to support and promote women filmmakers, the SJIWFF produces screenings, conferences, and other events throughout the year, culminating in a five-day annual film festival. Screening works directed and/or written by women and gender diverse artists, Newfoundland & Labrador's flagship industry event also offers a not-to-be-missed film Forum.

Objective

Our current objective is to connect with women filmmakers as well as industry leaders to help inform and program the 30th annual St. John's International Women's Film Festival, happening October 16-20, 2019 in St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada. We are looking for potential partners, industry speakers, and new films that are either written and/or directed by women.
