Description
DIRECTOR JESÚS MAGAÑA VÁZQUEZ In 2003 his first feature film “SURVIVOR” premiered in the Havana Film Festival, it was also Oficial Selection of Guadalajara International Film Festival (FICG )2004. He returned to the Oficial Selection of FICG in 2007 with “ONCE UPON A TIME MARIA”. His film “ABOLITION OF PROPERTY” won Best Screenplay at FICG 2011. His fourth film “ALICE IN MARIALAND” premiered in the Free Spirit Competition at the Warsaw Film Festival in 2014 and in 2015 won Best International Film Feature at the Raindance Film Festival. In 2016 “THE ALIEN AND ME” premiered with Cinépolis Distribution and was then sold to Netflix Worldwide. This film was nominated for Best Adapted Screenplay Ariel 2017; the protagonist Paco de la Fuente recived the Male Revelation award.
