Description

As the CEO of the company Kimberly Quigley started Skyrocket in 2019 to help support independent filmmakers after getting her own TV show with nearly 350 episodes produced by her, distributed into 25 countries on her own. She soon set out to help friends with projects that needed distribution and it quickly grew into creating Skyrocket. From there she was invited to do a special interview in Zimbabwe and this turned her attention to the African film market and the great opportunities there to expand a market in need of support. She became an Ambassador for the Pavillon Afriques here are Cannes and has since been working with the Pavillon for the last 5 years, helping filmmakers get resources and support while also representing some of the films herself for domestic and international sales.

Objective

Skyrocket has grown to take on more international titles as well as series from the US, Africa and abroad for film sales with the most notable recently complete new film Break The Cycle with Cuba Gooding Jr as well as 2025 Oscar Nominated short film The Last Ranger. Unrelease new documentary "Marlo" the real story behind HBO's The Wire, is also newly available for domestic and international through Skyrocket.
