Description

With a 12-year background in communications, Thessa Mooij launched Silversalt PR out of Studio 4D in Brooklyn's St Marks Lofts before moving the office to its current West Village space. Thessa started out as journalist in Amsterdam (Holland), covering a wide range of subjects for Dutch and English-language publications: Hollywood Reporter, Billboard, Screen International. As editor in the Corporate Communications department at Philips Electronics , Thessa dealt with executives at all levels, from all over the world. Following a move to London in 2000, Thessa worked for the Goethe-Institut as a film programmer, promoting German cinema. Based in New York from 2003, Thessa has taught Film Criticism at the School of Visual Arts, as well as freelance writing for Cineaste and the Screenwriter's Guild of Great Britain. After starting Silversalt PR in 2008, she created and executed publicity strategies for film premieres in New York, Berlin, Cannes, Venice and Toronto. In 2010, Silversalt
