SILVER FILMS is a Swedish production company formed in 2017 by producer Anna Byvald. It’s a boutique outfit focusing on highly qualitative projects with international potential and directors with a personal voice. The company is based in Gothenburg, Sweden, but operates internationally.
Objective
Recent accolades have been received for co-producing the acclaimed feature "Earthlings," directed by Steven Doughton and adapted from Jonathan Raymond's novel, with Todd Haynes serving as executive producer. Currently, Byvald is deeply involved in overseeing a diverse lineup of upcoming films, including "Lust" by Ralitza Petrova and "Zarzis" by Farzad Samsami, further establishing Silver Films' reputation for nurturing innovative storytelling.
