Description
SEGREDO FILMES is an Independent Film Production Company based in Bahia, Brazil; which since 2013 has been develloping its projects. It has produced DISTOPÍA (2020); the short films of the "Tetralogy of indignation": CARMEN (2013), TERESA (2014), CAROLINA (2017) and ANASTACIA (in progress). MÁTRIA and RESIDÊNCIA are in progress. Since 2013 has also produced the Film Festival "Mostra Lugar de Mulher é no Cinema" with brazilian films directed by women or where the protagonists are women.
Objective
The objective is to establish a co-production for the documentary feature film, MÁTRIA, a project that dialogues with the Arab universe. The synopsis of the project is: "When Martha receives a call from the Consulate to access their Lebanese citizenship, her daughter decides to apply for the same to rescue a family history and provide both with an encounter with the lost and silenced past."
