ROUGH CAT is an independent film production company based in Lugano, founded in 2015 with the aim of developing and producing fiction and documentary films for cinema and television, exploring the boundaries of genres and formats. Our focus is on the margins, the peripheries, and on cinema as a tool for investigating reality and humanity, looking at local stories as well as at European cinematography and international co-productions.
