Description
Red Rug Productions is currently focusing on producing two feature films: Wild Fruit is a proposed independent international festival film about a polyamorous relationship between two couples staying in neighbouring beach villas while working abroad. The second project is a period comedy, influenced by the likes of Black Adder and Monty Python, that is too high concept to divulge here and has promise to be the funniest feature or TV series that Britain has produced in decades.
Objective
Wild Fruit already has a creative producer team, requires a budget of $2-2.5 million, a speaking cast of four brilliant actors (please don't apply), and a likely female director. To be shot in India, Thailand or Sri Lanka depending on costs and incentives. The high concept comedy has already been offered a full budget pending attachment of a seasoned UK comedy director and 2-3 name cast. Interested sales agents.
