Description
pUNK Films was founded in 2003 by writer/producer/director Ingrid Veninger with a mandate to produce high quality independent features aimed at a world audience, with a 'nothing is impossible' manifesto. pUNK has produced 8 award-winning feature in the past 9 years -- Porcupine Lake (2017), He Hated Pigeons (Rotterdam, '16) The Animal Project (TIFF '13), The End of Time (TIFF '12), i am a good person/i am a bad person (TIFF '11), Modra (TIFF 2010), Only (TIFF '08), Nurse.Fighter.Boy (TIFF '08).
Objective
In 2014, Ingrid launched the pUNK Films Femmes Lab for six Canadian women to write six distinctive feature screenplays in 6 months; the Lab was sponsored by Oscar-winner Melissa Leo. Currently, Ingrid is working with foreign sales agent OUTLPLAY FILMS to release the first of six features, PORCUPINE LAKE, worldwide.
