Description

Plattform Produktion was established by director Ruben Östlund and producer Erik Hemmendorff after finishing film school in 2002. In 2004 they produced Ruben Östlund’s first feature “The Guitar Mongoloid”, co-produced with Hinden- Länna Ateljéerna and in 2005 his short film “Autobiographical Scene Number: 6882”. In 2006, the short film “Weekend”, directed by Henrik Andersson, won the Short Stories Competition at the Gothenburg Film Festival. Erik Hemmendorff is co-founder and producer of Plattform Produktion. Erik has produced “Autobiographical Scene Number: 6882” & “Weekend”, and has furthermore directed documentaries for Swedish Television. He is currently producing Ruben Östlund’s second feature “Involuntary” and Axel Danielson’s feature length documentary “Twin Brothers”, a coproduction with Zentropa.
