Description
Pinball Films are positioned as the home of unique genre adjacent cinema in the UK. In 2020 we produced Matt Hulse’s punk documentary SOUND FOR THE FUTURE, which premiered at the BFI London Film Festival. Ashley Horner's erotic feature, BRILLIANTLOVE, was selected for the Tribeca Film Festival and released theatrically by IFC in the USA, THE SUNDANCE CHANNEL and SODA PICTURES. Based in the region supported by NORTH EAST SCREEN we entertain minority co-production and are ACE and EAVE graduates.
Objective
Founded in 1999 in Newcastle/UK Pinball Films works with exciting filmmakers making vital cinema. Award winning producer Keith Bell (THE DESCENT and HARRY BROWN) joined in 2019 and oversees our current slate including NOTHING HOLY, a co-production with Truls Kontny of Norway's REIN FILM AS, Horner's lo-fi sci-fi GODLING (Selected European Genre Forum 2024) and THE OWL Cannes Marché screenplay winner 2023, ADVICE FOR CAB DRIVERS, all written by Stuart Wright.
