Description

Thanassis KARATHANOS was born in Berlin in 1967. He received a Master's Degree at the Panteion University of Athens in political and social sciences. In December 1998 he established in Berlin the film production company TWENTY TWENTY VISION. In June 2003 together with Karl Baumgartner he set up the film production company Pallas Film in Halle, Germany. Both companies produce feature films and documentaries. He is member of the German Film Academy and the European Film Academy.
