Description
Oxville Cinema a Foundation, was founded to bring cinema to Amsterdam's largest neighborhood, Nieuw-West. Oxville Cinema serves the residents of Amsterdam, especially those living in Nieuw-west with current movie offerings focused on inclusive neighborhood participation. For the residents, by the residents. In other words: community cinema. Starting in 2025 we will grow to a cinema with 5 screens with 340 seats.
Objective
Since 1999, the 160,000 people living there have had to go to other parts of the city to go to the movies. At the moment Oxville Cinema has 1 screen with 49 seats and a cafe. starting in 2025 we will grow to a cinema with 5 screens with 340 seats in the heart of Amsterdam's largest city district.
