O Som e a Fúria was created in September 1998. The company is fully dedicated to film production in order to establish a connection with independent auteur cinema. The quality of its proposals, associated with the development of the individual universes of its authors, are the backbone of this production company.The continuing work since its foundation has paved the way to the production of 23 short-films, 2 documentaries and 4 fiction features. In all, these flms have gathered 53 awards and 14 special mentions in film festivals.At the same time, since 2003, O Som e a Fúria began distributing the work that it has been producing.
