Description
Non-Stop is co-owned by Alexander Rodnyansky and Sergei Melkumov.Rodnyansky's films A Chef In Love and East-West received Oscar nominations for Best Foreign Picture. The 2004 box office hit A Driver For Vera was awarded the Russian Film of the Year award. In 2007 his comedy Heat was the most commercially successful film in Russia and the CIS.Melkumov has created over 30 Russian films and TV series, including In Motion, The Goddess, and Our Own (awarded the Moscow International Film Festival top prize in 2004), and the TV series Brezhnev, and The Saboteur.The duo's first co-production was the war drama, The 9th Company, which became Russia's highest grossing film, and was awarded the Russian Film of the Year award for 2005.In 2007 Non-Stop released the historic drama 1814, and in 2008 the thriller He Who Puts Out the Light.The studio’s latest project, the sci-fi epic Inhabited Island, became a Russian box-office leader.Non-Stop Productions currently has five films in develop
