Description
Nexus is able to obtain 7.000.000,00 US Dollar through Incentive Law. Nexus produced the movie “Vera” (winner of the Silver Bear for Best Actress at the Berlin Film Festival; “Olga” (over 3 million viewers, a submission to the Academy Award for Best Foreign Film, and over 20 awards; “Budapest” (a co-production among Brazil, Hungary, and Portugal; “Time and Wind” (800,000 viewers), and also the homonymous miniseries. Nexus productions have reached nearly 5 million viewers.
Objective
The company aims at developing distinguished projects, with clear production values. We focus not on quantity, but on the nearly handcrafted attention to each project. At Nexus, every detail is carefully observed. Nexus Cinema is currently finishing up the movie “O Caseiro”, as well as raising funds for the project “Duetto” (a co-production with Italy, starring Fernanda Montenegro and Giancarlo Giannini), to be distributed by Imagem Filmes, and “Madame Durocher” (a co-production with France).
