Founded in 1941, Kyrgyzfilm is the largest state-owned film production enterprise in the Kyrgyz Republic and operates under the Department of Cinematography of the Ministry of Culture, Information, and Youth Policy. The studio is equipped with a comprehensive production base, state-of-the-art technical facilities, and a unique archive of Soviet-era films.
