The Film Museum Pablo Ducrós Hicken was founded in 1971, and includes over sixty thousand reels of film, 250 projectors, ancillary materials like a tinting guide to The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari (Robert Wiene, 1920), and the Manuel Peña Rodriguez collection, source of the elements that have been used for the expanded version of Fritz Lang’s Metropolis (1927) as well as features, such as Moy Syn (1928), long believed lost.
