DG Cinema and Audiovisual (DGCA) is a department of the Italian Ministry for Culture (MiC). DGCA-MiC supports the creation, production, distribution and circulation of film and audiovisual works, supports cinemas theatres and technical industries and represents Italy before the EU and other international institutions. It also supports professional training and media education, and studies and analyses on the film and audiovisual sector.
