Mei Ah Entertainment Group was founded in 1986 and listed at Hong Kong Stock Exchange in 1993. Majoring in film production, it has produced more than 150 titles to date, including many box office hits and internationally acclaimed titles. With a yearly production slate of 10-12 titles, its film library has accumulated to contain more than 500 titles with some of the big names like Chow Yun-Fat, Jet Li, Sammo Hung, Tony Leung etc. Together with the recent establishment of branches in China, Taiwan and Japan, Mei Ah will have more co-productions for different markets as well. Regarding other main business, Mei Ah's subsidiary MATV has started the operation of movie and drama channels from 2003 and have downlinked in Hong Kong, Japan and Singapore and is expanding to other regions.
