Description
Maligno Gorehouse - founded by producers Javier Sepúlveda, Eduardo Lecuona, and screenwriter Ximena Garcia Lecuona - is a production company dedicated to developing, producing, and financing a new generation of horror films for the global audience. Maligno coproduced the multi-award winning "Huesera" (2022, Michelle Garza Cervera) and produced the genre festival fave "Parvulos: Children of the Apocalypse" (2024, Isaac Ezban) which recently opened in theaters in Mexico and the USA.
Objective
We are raising the remaining funds to finance our next project—the dystopian horror LUX NOCTIS—which is set to shoot at the end of 2025. Following the successful approval of 1 million USD by EFICINE, we are looking to consolidate our budget and are open to bringing on new partners, exploring international co-productions, or considering alternative financing options.
