Description
LD Entertainment is an independent production, acquisition and distribution company founded by CEO Mickey Liddell. In January 2012, Liddell Entertainment launched its own distribution arm headed by David Dinerstein, forming LD Entertainment. The company will now actively acquire films and provide distribution in addition to producing four to six movies a year with budgets of up to $25 million.In its initial year, LD Entertainment will release KILLER JOE, directed by William Friedkin, written by Tracy Letts, and starring Matthew McConaughey and BLACK ROCK, starring Kate Bosworth. Additionally, LD Entertainment will release its own feature productions including THE COLLECTION, from the SAW IV, V, and VI writers Marcus Dunstan and Patrick Melton, starring Josh Stewart, as well as DISCONNECT, from Oscar-nominated director Henry-Alex Rubin, starring Alexanscder Skarsgard and Jason Bateman.
