Founded in 2005 by Roch Bozino, Java Films rapidly established itself as one of Europe’s leading independent documentary distributors, providing pre-sales and distribution for films in production but also in development. In 2013, we opened a separate department - Java Features - to handle our growing theatrical catalogue. In 2022, our documentaries screened at 140 festivals around the world, winning 33 awards & 10 special mentions.
