Description
The Jamaica Film Commission (est 1984) operates within the Jamaica Promotion Corporation (JAMPRO/Jamaica Trade & Invest). We are mandated to promote the Jamaican film industry through facilitation of activities that increase investment, export, and employment in the sector. JAMPRO is an Agency of the Government of Jamaica’s Ministry of Industry and Commerce
Objective
• The Jamaica Film Fund – we are launching this inaugural fund in the coming year, and are connecting with financiers, investors, fund managers, and national fund administrators. • Film Sales – Jamaica has a burgeoning indigenous production slate, and are looking for international representation of this growing catalogue • Investment Leads – We are open for business for existing studios, sound stages, and other production facilities looking to establish a physical presence in the Caribbean
