JAMAICA FILM AND TV ASSOCIATION (JAFTA)
Description
The Jamaica Film and Television Association (JAFTA) is a non-profit association comprised of Jamaican film and tv practitioners and geared at advancing Jamaica's audio-visual community and sector. JAFTA is associated with capacity-building and developmental initiatives such as the Feature Film Lab which has various Jamaican projects in early development. JAFTA Propella and JAFTA Episodics also has completed short films and early development episodic scripts.
Objective
To provide facilitate collaborations with Jamaican feature film producers and their respective projects. To foster mutual beneficial collaborations, exchange and developmental initiatives between JAFTA and international entities and individuals that will benefit emerging talent and provide opportunities and visibility for the Jamaican audio-visual industry.
