Founded in 1937 in Mumbai,India,it is the oldest and internationally recognised organisation serving the Indian filmmaking sector.This non-profit organisation plays a key role by acting as a film registration body and problem-solving body for producers in the industry. IMPPA's role in promoting the Indian film industry is undeniably significant.Internationally affiliated with FIAPF (International Federation of Film Producers Associations) in 2024.
