Description
HAF is Asia's premier project market designed to connect Asian filmmakers with upcoming film projects with internationally prominent film financiers for co-production ventures. Past participants include China's Gu Changwei and Jia Jiangke; Hong Kong's Ann Hui and Peter Chan; Taiwan's Tsai Ming-Liang and Yee Chih-Yen; Japan's Kore-Eda Hirokazu and Kawase Naomi; Korea's Park Chan-wook and Bong Joon-ho; Thailand's Apichatpong Weerasethakul; the Philippines' Brillante Mendoza and many others.
Objective
Full-length feature and documentary project recruitment for HAF17 (18-20 March 2019, Hong Kong) will begin in August 2018.
