Description
Fumane Films is an independent production company based in Maputo, founded by filmmaker Gamito Fumane. It creates powerful, authentic stories blending African realities with universal appeal. The debut feature, Prato Frio "Frozen Revenge" (2025), won multiple international awards. The second film, The Price of Guilt, is in post-production. The company seeks co-productions, global distribution, and partnerships to bring Mozambican cinema to the world.
Objective
My current objective is to expand Fumane Films internationally, building strategic partnerships and producing high-quality films that showcase Mozambican stories. I aim to reach global audiences through festivals, sales agents, and streaming platforms, positioning Mozambique as a rising force in cinema.
