FRENCH FILM FESTIVAL (RICHMOND, VIRGINIA)
Description
American-led initiative for over twenty-years promoting French cinema, language and culture in the US. The Festival programs a selection of new feature films and shorts from France presented by their directors and/or actors in the historic cinema palace, the Byrd Theatre. In 2015, the Festival in Richmond hosted over 40 actors, directors, screenwriters, animators, producers and artist-technicians from France. The Festival is sponsored by VCU & UR in Richmond, SACD, CST, L'ARP, UniFrance, MONAL
Objective
Selection of films to be presented by their actors and directors at the 24th French Film Festival in Richmond, Virginia (March 31-April, 2016). Acquisition of distribution rights in the US for French feature films, documentaries, animations and short films.
