Free Spirit Films is an independent production company based in Toronto, Canada. It was established in 2005 by president, Alison Reid to develop and produce projects diverse in genre, but similar in their exploration of the human spirit.
Objective
Looking for producing partners for scripted project based on The Woman Who Loves Giraffes - our critically acclaimed feature documentary about Anne Innis Dagg. A young woman pursues her passion to study giraffes in the wilds of South Africa during Apartheid, but the lions and snakes prove less of an obstacle than the barriers she faces when she returns home.
